appointment prep

  • Reschedule if you are feeling sick.

  • Please just bring yourself, no guests.

  • Make sure you are financially prepared. I will accept cash, Venmo, PayPal or card. Feel free to email me if you have any questions about pricing!

  • Bring headphones if you want, it’s a great way to pass time and distract you from the pain.

  • Some people bring books!

  • Eat a good meal at least two hrs prior to avoid low blood sugar, light-headedness or fainting.

  • You can bring small snacks to keep up your blood sugar.

  • Come hydrated. It makes your skin more resilient and also helps your tattoo heal faster. Water can be provided at the shop if asked!

  • Get plenty of sleep, being tired can lower pain tolerance.

  • If you can, bathe beforehand or the day of. Skin cleanliness is an extra precaution to prevent possible infection.

  • Moisturize your skin a few days leading up to the tattoo, but not the day of. This isn’t necessary but can cause less trauma to the skin.

  • Try not to drink alcohol the night before because it’s a blood-thinner.

  • Wear comfortable clothes and make sure it is loose enough to pull up to reach desired placement of the tattoo if needed. (We provide pasties if the tattoo is in a surrounding area.)

  • If you want to put numbing cream on beforehand, I don’t mind! I’ll clean it off before we get started.

    LATE POLICY

  • Deposits are non-refundable and do not carry over if you do not reschedule within a week of your appointment. Otherwise rescheduling might be available with a fee of $50.

  • If you are running late let me know, but if you are more than 15 minutes late, the appointment will most likely be canceled.

  • If you are more than 15 minutes late without communication you will be marked as a no-call no-show.

  • If you no-call no-show, I won't tattoo you in the future and I will still keep your deposit.

  • I would like to avoid hard feelings so please communicate with me and try to arrive on time/consider going to the ATM the day before if you’re planning on paying with cash.
